Privacy

Greg's PC Fix is a one-person shop run by Greg Szczurek in Langford, BC. Two kinds of information pass through it: what you send through this website, and what sits on a machine you bring in.

What this website collects

Only what you type into the contact form — your name, email, a description of the machine, how urgent it is, and your message. There are no analytics and no advertising trackers on this site.

How that's used

Your submission is emailed straight to Greg so he can reply. It isn't sold, shared, or added to a marketing list. The email is sent through Amazon SES from a server Greg operates.

Data on your machine

Repair work sometimes requires access to the files on a device. Greg looks only at what the repair requires, doesn't copy anything off except to make a backup you have asked for, and deletes any such backup once you confirm the machine is working. If you'd rather remove sensitive files or hand over the drive separately before dropping it off, that's welcome — just say so at intake.

Recycled and disposed devices

Drives in machines left for recycling are securely erased or physically destroyed before anything leaves the shop.

Removing your details

Email hello@gregspcfix.ca and Greg will delete what he has.
